Richard Leider

Robert Laura

Colleen Drummond

Colleen Drummond is a retired business innovation executive and “me, my life, my wallet” thought leader with extensive capabilities relating to design thinking, human behavior change and business model innovation.  Over the past decade, Colleen served as Partner In-charge of KPMG’s Innovation Labs and led a high-performing team to help C-suite executives innovate for future growth and relevance, in a rapidly changing, complex environment.

Colleen recently retired from the partnership at KPMG. Rejecting traditional retirement narratives, she brings human centered design to help rethink, reframe and innovate retirement. She is working on a start up around the retirement transition journey and has been exploring the art of the possible around what makes a good life in retirement – including 150+ books and studies on retirement, longevity, transitions, habits, health, relationships, and happiness among many others. Colleen’s work with Modern Elder Academy (MEA) is all about helping retirees regenerate themselves so that they make the world a better place for future generations. She recently co-facilitated MEA’s Reframing Retirement workshop in Baja with Bob Laura and serves as Master Faculty for MEA’s Reframing Retirement online course.

She is a graduate of William and Mary’s Mason School of Business with a B.B.A. in Accounting, and is actively engaged with WM’s Entrepreneurship Hub and Mason School of Business (Foundation Board Member, Executive Partner, Guest Lecturer).

Laura Berman Fortgang

Dr. Riley Moyes

Dr. Riley Moynes is a successful author with several best-sellers to his credit. Foremost among them was the groundbreaking financial planning guide entitled The Money Coach, which was a consistent best-seller through six editions. He is also a popular public speaker.

Following a successful 20-year career as an educator, he turned his talents to the financial services sector, launching a wealth management firm which grew to include offices in several cities. Eric Weigel

Eric J. Weigel is the founder of Retire With Possibilities an advisory and retirement coaching firm dedicated to helping people consciously design their own journey into retirement in all aspects -financial as well as non-financial – affecting the quality of their post-career experience. Eric is also the founder of Global Focus Capital, a capital markets and consulting firm focused on sustainable, long term investing approaches.

Eric cherishes his time with his wife, three adult children and two grandkids. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, gardening, and escaping the New England winters exploring possible retirement abroad locations.

Rich Eisenberg

Rich Eisenberg "unretired" from his job as Managing Editor and Editor of the Money & Policy and Work & Purpose channels of the PBS site for people 50+, Next Avenue, in January 2022. He currently writes The View From Unretirement column for MarketWatch and freelances for Next Avenue as well as other media outlets. He is also co-host of the Friends Talk Money podcast, for people 50+, with Terry Savage and Pam Krueger. Fritz Gilbert

I focus on practical Financial Independence and Retirement Planning issues for folks within ten years of retirement. My wife and I achieved early retirement in June 2018 at the age of 55, and are sharing the lessons we’re learning along the way. We sold our primary home “in the city” and moved into a cabin in the North Georgia mountains as part of our downsizing strategy for retirement. My goal is to educate, challenge and encourage each of you to take the steps necessary to achieve success on your journey toward retirement.  I enjoy helping others on their journey to and through retirement.

Raymond A. Jetson

Raymond A. Jetson is an AARP Purpose Prize winner and Next Avenue Influencer in Aging. He is one half of the intergenerational co-leadership team at MetroMorphosis, an innovative social enterprise based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Raymond has served as the catalytic force that has powered the evolution of Aging While Black, a multifaceted platform that elevates the voices and experiences of Black elders by amplifying their stories, perspectives and realities. The movement is intended o generate collective learning and action around the systemic inequities faced by aging Black people and co-create policy and people-driven responses.

He has a rich history of public service and impacting people. Jetson was the deputy secretary for the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, the state’s largest agency. Raymond served as a member of the Louisiana House of Representatives for more than 15 years. And for 23 years he served as the pastor of the Star Hill Church. Jetson was a Fellow in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University, Encore Public Voices and Forward Promise fellowships.

Raymond has continually emerged as a leading voice on community change strategies rooted in equity, social innovation, and authentic community engagement. Jetson has served as a source for USA TODAY, The New York Times, NBC Nightly News, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and the Chronicle of Philanthropy.

He is a member of the Board of Directors for CoGenerate, a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, and is addicted to golf.

Simon Chan

Simon is the Founder and CEO of Adapt with Intent Inc., a boutique consulting firm that works with leaders, educators, and organizations to reframe their thinking and redesign new ways of working across life stages. Adapt with Intent focuses on the intersection of longevity and work and how we might adapt careers, work systems, and what “retirement” might look like.

Simon is a talent and innovation executive with over 25 years of experience and has spent over 15 years in the group retirement and benefits industry. He has a diverse background in financial services, technology, academia, and not-for-profit sectors. He has held a variety of senior positions in strategy, corporate innovation, talent attraction, product development, business development, and operations. Prior to founding Adapt with Intent Inc., Simon was Vice-President of Talent, Academy and Future of Work at Communitech, a globally recognized innovation hub.

Simon is a well-respected futurist who speaks regularly at conferences on the future of work & learning and corporate innovation.

Simon holds a Master of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, and he now serves as Vice-Chair of the university board of governors. He also holds CFP (Certified Financial Planner) and CPRC (Certified Professional Retirement Coach) designations.

Christina M. Luberto, Ph.D

Dr. Christina Luberto is an Assistant Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and a Staff Psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). Her research and clinical work focus on integrating meditation training with cognitive-behavioral therapy to treat emotional and behavioral problems, and increase pro-social outcomes, particularly among people with chronic medical conditions. She is especially interested in electronic health approaches to delivering mindfulness interventions.

Dr. Luberto earned her PhD at the University of Cincinnati and completed her clinical internship in Behavioral Medicine and a research fellowship in Integrative Medicine at MGH/HMS.

Kari Cardinale

Kari is the SVP of Digital Strategy at MEA (Modern Elder Academy). She helps design and deliver unique digital programs to build a community movement online. Kari is a master host with a knack of creating deep connections both live and virtually, with 25+ years experience as a driven social entrepreneur in creative strategy, instructional design for live or virtual events, professional hosting, facilitating and training, and private consulting to bring out the best in thought leaders. She has worked with hundreds of experts around the world.

Kari is curious about everything, and is committed to lifelong learning. She has a Masters degree in psychology, masters work in organizational leadership, and is passionate in leading the new frontier of global community engagement.
