Robert Laura, AAMS, CMFC, CPRC, is the founder of The Retirement Coaches Association and President of Certified Professional Retirement Coach Designation. As a retirement activist and a retirement coaching pioneer, he continues to challenge the status quo of traditional planning though his nationally syndicated columns for Forbes.com and Financial Advisor magazine, as well as through his books Naked Retirement and Retirement Rx.

Sara Zeff Geber, Ph.D. is a certified retirement coach and workshop leader. She is an active member of the Life Planning Network (LPN), and is on the leadership team for the NorCal chapter. She is also active in The Transition Network, a national organization that supports women over 50 as they go through life’s journey. Dr. Geber has made “Solo Aging,” her personal crusade and has recently published her book, Fifty Plus, Minus Kids

Joanne possesses more than 30 years’ experience in transition management including coaching and retirement. She has an extensive background as a webinar leader and for the past fourteen years served as Director of Training with Retirement Options. As the owner of New Perspective Coaching she works with baby boomers looking to plan their reinvention into retirement. She is a Professional Certified Coach, a Board Certified Coach and a Master Career Counselor.

Mickie Schroeder and Jeffrey Jans collectively have over 70 years of experience in coaching, training, and designing adult education. When faced with the early retirement question, they sought out coaching but found only a ton of books. After reading them all, they put two and two together and used their expertise to provide the resource they couldn't find. Mickie Schroeder has worked as a leadership coach in Corporate America for over 30 years. She is a certified Retirement Options Coach and is certified by the International Coaching Federation.


Jeffrey Jans has designed leadership courses for a wide variety of for- and non-profit organizations. For Covey Leadership Center, Jeff facilitated 7 Habits to organizations in education, entertainment, finance, government, publishing, and telecommunications. For NCR he traveled the world facilitating Customer Focused Teams. For the City of Kansas City he co-designed and delivered Diversity Training to the Mayor, City Council, and all other city employees.

Laura is a Certified Life, Career and Retirement Coach and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has practiced in Central Florida since 1980. Laura is uniquely qualified to address a wide range of issues and concerns and have extensive experience assisting individuals, couples, families and organizations. Laura creates partnerships to facilitate developing skills and making changes that will allow movement forward, toward a healthier, happier and more productive future. Assisting Couples and Individuals to create healthy, happy, purposeful and passionate Retirement is Laura's passion.

Sheila is a seasoned and accomplished professional with leadership positions in diverse domestic and international for-profit and non-profit firms. Sheila has a reputation for contributions in talent sourcing, transition, development and management. Sheila is a life-long learner, earned MS, Business Lesley University, Boston MA and BA, Siena Heights University Adrian, MI; and, Advanced Certificate in Organizational Development/Human Resource Management, joint program University of Michigan/Columbia University, NY. She holds certifications in assessment administration/delivery; a Retirement Coaching Certification. Sheila is also a SHRM member and active participant in HR Chapters throughout New Hampshire.

Saundra is Career to Retirement Coach with a passion for helping people find careers and design their retirement in a way that suits their needs and interests. Saundra is passionate about helping people with their career and retirement challenges. Her work history and volunteer activities have allowed her to gain a broad set of skills to help support individuals through their career transitions. Saundra has a laser focus on the issues that come up in the lives of both those planning to retire and those who are already retired. She has an extensive history in Adult Education including an MS in Adult Education from Buffalo State College and is an adjunct professor for Herzing University.

Tom is a Partner and Senior Wealth Manager with Stonegate Wealth Management. An experienced CFP & CPA with more than twenty-five years experience, he is dedicated to providing financial, estate and tax planning services. Tom focuses on the client's agreed-upon financial goals. He will typically bring together a professional team to generate both short-term and long-term solutions. His personal communication skills and professional acumen benefit both his firm and the financial services industry. His other credentials include the designations of Certified Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC), and Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF). Tom graduated from Seton Hall University, in New Jersey, and has spent his career in financial planning. He is married and the father of four children.
